Nearly died? That's as maybe but I see you don't mention getting me there under false pretences of a nice couple of hours down the river, which turned out to be 8 hours of hell in extreme heat, without water or a baguette ending with a white water rapid paddle through a bevy of naked Frenchmen! It's not bad, and the touch keypad interface isn't so bad once you get used to it. It's smaller than an iphone. Speaking of which, was playing with one of those in the shop and very nice...but you had to pay 8000Yen a month (my phone is only 4000Yen), so didn't get it - also there's no keypad so think typing emails might be a nightmare. &lt;br&gt;
About two weeks later, due to slowing of sales, they slashed the price to about 2500Yen!!! DOH!!&lt;br&gt;
